Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Equipment Installation: Support the installation of new equipment and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, maintenance, and equipment installations.
- Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Health and Safety: Comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in our continuous improvement program to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance our maintenance processes.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of production equipment in a food or drink manufacturing environment.
- Education: Level 3 NVQ in engineering and 18th Edition certification preferred but not essential.
- Skills: Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Language: Fluent English.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.
Working Hours: The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift pattern, including early morning and evening shifts, with 4 days off per week.
