Senior Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our team at Alvaston Hall in Crewe. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of new menu ideas and promotions, working closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and stock control.
- Supervise a large team of chefs, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, adhering to company regulations and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and promotions, working closely with the marketing team.
- Proven experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a branded environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing requirements, and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with branded menus and the ability to create innovative dishes within these constraints.
