Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Divisional Assessor to join our team at Fife Council. As a key member of our Service, you will be responsible for the efficient allocation, coordination, and training of technical staff undertaking property surveys and valuations throughout Fife.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the survey and valuation of properties of a more specialist nature
  • Work collaboratively with technical staff to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of property valuations
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of technical staff
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to property valuation and surveying

Requirements

  • Full professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
  • Education to SCQF level 9 (degree or equivalent)
  • Ability to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland
