About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Haematology Specialist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the management of paediatric haematological disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the leukaemia attending and leukaemia service provision
  • Be part of the CAR-T clinical and research programme
  • Contribute to other aspects of haematology, including laboratory and diagnostic haematology
  • Work closely with the BMT team, including cover of BMT and stem cell gene therapy patients

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • MBChB or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent MRCPCH or MRCP
  • FRCPath, or CCT (or equivalent) in paediatric oncology, with specific expertise in BMT and leukaemia
  • Completion of general professional training Medicine or Paediatrics
  • Eligible for specialist registration in Haematology or Paediatrics Oncology
  • Relevant clinical experience in Clinical Paediatric Haematology, and Transplant and Cell Therapies
  • Good team-working skills
