About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Accounts team, you will be responsible for leading a small number of colleagues and contributing to the success of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, month-end accruals and prepayments, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

You will also be responsible for supporting the introduction of store-level profit and loss accounts, taking ownership of key Profit and Loss Accounts, and ensuring that Balance Sheet control accounts are fully reconciled.

In addition, you will work closely with our commercial finance team to optimize our Oracle Finance system and support the continued growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a small number of colleagues in the Financial Accounts team
  • Support the introduction of store-level profit and loss accounts
  • Take ownership of key Profit and Loss Accounts
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data
  • Manage the sales ledger and month-end accruals and prepayments
  • Work closely with our commercial finance team to optimize our Oracle Finance system
  • Support the continued growth and development of our business
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in accounting (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately
