Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Technique Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Norwich. As a specialist Engineering & manufacturing Recruitment company, they require a professional to support factory units in delivering KPIs and develop capital investment projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver capital investment projects to meet business objectives.
  • Provide engineering solutions for projects, large and small, to address EHS issues and technical/engineering service requests.
  • Support waste reduction programs and identify energy-saving initiatives.
  • Develop technical specification documents for projects and ensure capital plans meet their objectives of cost, quality, service, and EHS.
  • Project manage each capital investment project, reporting progress to the Senior Management Team.
  • Manage external contractors engaged in capital investment plans and complete specified and agreed handover arrangements at the end of each project.
  • Develop and update factory and site layouts, including jigs, fixtures, and assembly aids.
  • Deliver engineering solutions to address EHS issues and technical/engineering service requests.
  • Support internal customers in on-time in-full delivery of daily/weekly production requirements.
  • Maintain the Asset Register and performance measures and accountability.
Requirements:
  • HNC or degree qualification in a suitable engineering discipline.
  • AutoCAD skills.
  • Experience in engineering disciplines, project management, plant layout development, and contractor management.
