Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the review and acceptance of deliverables related to civil engineering activities.
  • Develop building-specific documents, such as handover reports and hypothesis notes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resolving building-specific technical open points with the L3 civil designer.
  • Support the civil building lead in addressing transverse/complex technical open points.
  • Collaborate with the civil building lead and contract engineering lead, along with the L3 civil designer and other stakeholders, to produce designs.
  • Manage the resolution of building-specific technical topics and track their evolution within the scope of activity.
  • Support the contract engineering lead in preparing progress reports for the Client Project Manager and alerting any technical risks to the program.
  • Assist the contract engineering lead in reviewing technical proposals for variations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering.
  • Civil engineering design office experience, particularly in the design and detailing of industrial reinforced concrete structures.
  • Experience in the nuclear sector is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Eurocodes related to civil engineering.
  • Knowledge of the design and detailing of reinforced concrete.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of the ETC-C design code is advantageous.
