This is an exciting opportunity to rewild and restore a historic estate in the Cotswold.
We are launching a business to offer services to other estates, and our team loves working here due to the variation of tasks and the fabulous team.
As a key member of our Estate Team, you will be responsible for developing our new plant nursery, creating new areas to grow plants, and assisting with the maintenance of trees, hedges, and tracks.
Main Responsibilities:- Nursery Development: Help create new areas to grow plants, potting, weeding, plant husbandry, and wider estates work as required.
- Woodland Maintenance: Prepare and maintain new and existing woodland plantations, including watering, guying, pruning, ground care, and weed control.
- Equipment Operation: Work with various types of machinery and equipment to prepare and maintain various estate areas, including leaf collection, spraying, strimming, and ground clearance.
- PA1 and PA6a certifications
- Experience and qualifications in driving ATVs and forklifts
The salary for this role is £28,000 per year, and additional benefits include extra leave.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, and the work location is on-site.
