**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Computer Science Teacher to join our team and work at a mainstream secondary school in Wigan. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level, and strong subject knowledge in programming, computational thinking, and IT fundamentals.

**Responsibilities**

• Teach fundamental topics, including programming, data structures, algorithms, and cyber security, to KS3 and KS4 students
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills

**Requirements**

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level
• Strong subject knowledge in programming, computational thinking, and IT fundamentals
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply
