Your Role:
  • Work on various projects across retail, health, energy, commercial property, education, and public sectors.
  • Undertake feasibility studies, produce specifications, obtain estimates, and administer contracts for refurbishment projects.
  • Apply standard forms of building contract, such as JCT and NEC.
  • Mentor and train Building Surveyors, providing Supervisor support to Junior Surveyors on the RICS APC programme.
  • Line manage Junior Building Surveying staff.
  • Carry out surveys, inspections, schedules, and provide professional services.
  • Develop new business opportunities, including preparation and submission of bids.
Requirements:
  • Sound technical surveying knowledge and significant building surveying experience.
  • Experience managing clients with a strong understanding of profitability, business development, and commercial awareness.
  • Experience in mentoring, training, and coaching team members.
  • Experience managing workloads and projects.
  • Strong IT skills, Word, and Excel as a minimum.
  • Strong ability in the use of AutoCAD and NBS, and experience with Revit would be an advantage.
