About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to join our team on a part-time maternity cover basis. As a key member of our PR agency, you will be responsible for leading client programs, developing and implementing PR and marketing strategies, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client programs, taking ownership and resolving issues in a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and implement smart, metric-driven PR and marketing plans aligned with clients' business objectives.
  • Provide full account direction, while being willing to roll up your sleeves to support the team.
  • Oversee client servicing and planning, ensuring seamless delivery of PR and marketing services.
  • Demonstrate leadership and experience in client relationships, management, and professionalism.
  • Stay up-to-date with the complete PR discipline, from print to digital and social media.
  • Contribute to the strategic development and organic growth of our b2b client portfolio.
  • Actively listen to and articulate client needs, communicating effectively with the team.
  • Support new business development, develop new prospects, and participate in pitches for consumer technology and lifestyle clients.
  • Coach, mentor, and support junior team members.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion and understanding of the b2b technology sector.
  • A detailed understanding of the b2b technology industry, including journalist, analyst, and media relationships.
  • A proven track record in running b2b campaigns within an agency environment.
  • Ability to manage and motivate client teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in fronting account teams and providing strategic counsel to clients.
  • Experience in handling new business and supporting proposals and pitches.
