Job Title: Senior Rooms Reservations Consultant

As a Senior Rooms Reservations Consultant at The Savoy Hotel, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our luxurious bedrooms and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize revenue by converting enquiries into bookings and identifying business opportunities for upselling.
  • Respond to individual room enquiries from travel agents and the internal sales team, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless reservations, adding profile notes and amenities as required.
  • Develop strong relationships with travel agents, handling new requests and commissions with professionalism.
  • Assist the Events team with rooming and entering room lists, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the hotel's products and services, utilizing the feature and benefit sales technique to confidently promote our offerings.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to enquiries in an engaging manner and converting every opportunity into a booking.
  • Ensure all calls, emails, and procedures are performed in line with The Savoy's service standards.
  • Update reservations to guarantee a flawless arrival and departure experience.
  • Understand our targets, forecasts, and figures, recognizing the impact of your role on the hotel's success.
  • Prioritize quality standards, paying attention to detail and maintaining exceptional service.
  • Build strong relationships with guests and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Manage tasks efficiently, being proactive and organized in your approach.
  • Conduct all reservation tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to LQA and Forbes standards, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
Requirements:
  • 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A confident and dynamic speaker, able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • An enthusiastic and positive personality, with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.
  • Proven organizational skills, with the ability to set and meet deadlines while maintaining quality results.
  • Applicable job-related skills, as per the accountable duties.
