Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at TRCGroup. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering palletized parcels to sub-depots and solus locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting 1-3 runs on average per shift, with a majority of shifts being 8 hours long, but some routes may be longer.
  • Delivering palletized parcels to sub-depots and solus locations, utilizing tail lift/pump truck equipment as needed.
  • Handballing parcels into sheds and garages at solus locations, ensuring efficient and safe delivery.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulations.
  • Completing a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, and participating in paid training if assessment is successful.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license with Class 1 entitlement (category C).
  • Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on license (minor offenses only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
