Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Anaesthetic Nurse to join our team at Leaders in Care. As a Senior Anaesthetic Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading our anaesthetic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Safe and Quality Care: Provide safe and effective care to patients during their peri-operative phase, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is prioritized.
  • Lead the Anaesthetic Team: Support, coordinate, and assist in managing and organizing care within the operating department, providing clinical and managerial leadership to ensure quality patient care.
  • Develop and Enhance Skills: Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of yourself and others, promoting best evidence-based practice within your scope.
  • Contribute to Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to patient safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registration and Qualifications: Registration with NMC or HCPC, post-registration qualification relevant to the specialty, and approved/recognized anaesthetic course.
  • Experience and Skills: Experience in an acute healthcare environment, experience in managing and leading a clinical team, ILS and Orthopaedic skills, mentorship qualification, and ILM3.
