Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Expert for Education to join our team at The Education Specialists. As a Design and Technology Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our workshops and equipment.

Your duties will include maintaining and sharpening cutting tools and machinery, operating and maintaining 3D printing machines, and inspecting and servicing woodworking and engineering machines. You will also be responsible for overseeing equipment maintenance, including COSHH testing, and ensuring that all equipment meets Health & Safety requirements.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and other staff members. A full enhanced DBS is required, and we encourage applicants with relevant qualifications and experience to apply.

Estimated Salary:£28,000 - £38,000 per annum
