Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials AG. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient production of concrete, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the batching plant, ensuring that production meets customer requirements and company standards.
- Manage and maintain the cleanliness of the plant, equipment, and facilities, adhering to environmental procedures and regulations.
- Inspect and maintain plant routine maintenance, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
- Ensure that all employees and contractors follow safety instructions and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
- Monitor and control waste disposal, water discharges, and dust emissions, adhering to environmental procedures.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring that sufficient materials are available to meet production demands.
- Conduct regular visual stock checks and inspect incoming materials.
- Develop and implement process improvements, ensuring the best use of plant, equipment, and materials.
- Comply with all relevant legislation, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and Company Safety Policy.
- Attend training courses and update knowledge to perform the job with maximum effectiveness.
- GCSE grade 4+ (Equivalent to a C in Math's and English)
