Inventory Management Specialist

We are a leading global provider of innovative solutions for professional coffee making, and we are seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our dynamic Warehouse team.

This role is critical in supporting the Head of Warehouse and ensuring a smooth operation. The Stock Controller position will ensure the efficient management and availability of inventory, maintaining correct stock levels, preventing disruptions in supply, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the warehouse.

The ideal candidate will help minimize costs and maximize productivity, ensuring that customer demands are met promptly and effectively by accurately tracking and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Update stock information on the computer system
  • Compile daily reports and address inventory discrepancies
  • Manage accurate and efficient product allocation to enhance picking and production efficiency
  • Manage FEFO (First Expired, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to maintain product quality and reduce damages and write-offs
  • Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve inventory-related issues
  • Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Good Excel skills
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
  • Strong numeric skills, proficient in performing calculations, analyzing inventory data, and interpreting numerical trends
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 is not essential but would be an advantage
