Postperson with Driving

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a Postperson with Driving, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and lorries, to transport mail and packages
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
• Work in all weather conditions and adapt to changing circumstances

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Physical fitness to lift and carry mail and packages

• Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
