About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Manchester, UK. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in every aspect of mechanical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure. This includes managing a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, preparing briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals, and successfully managing time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.

The successful candidate will have a Chartered Mechanical Engineer qualification, experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design, and sound knowledge in mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant. They will also need to adhere to quality assurance standards in design and have a strong understanding of legislation such as CDM and ATEX. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £85,000 to £115,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 25 days' annual leave, flexible working arrangements, and access to training and development opportunities.
