About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturer based in Rockwell Green, Somerset. As a key member of our Engineering Maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical, electrical, and product equipment, and implementing improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Conduct planned and responsive maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of production processes
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Relevant engineering qualification and experience in an industrial maintenance environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a bias towards electrical or mechanical disciplines
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
