About Home Instead Senior Care
As a leading provider of home care services, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Care Quality Trainer to join our team in Cleveland. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, allowing them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
About the Role
We are offering a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, for this full-time position. As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our care professionals, ensuring they meet the required standards and competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise, deliver, and manage our Initial Care Professional Training course on a weekly basis with flexibility.
- Complete weekend training courses in conjunction with on-call support every 8 weeks.
- Manage compliance and completion of 15 care certificate eLearning standards via our MLC eLearning platform.
- Perform mandatory 1st visits competency assessments and another 1-2 competency assessments per person within 12 weeks, electronically documenting all interactions.
- Maintain weekly touchpoints/welfare calls with new starters, electronically documenting coaching and mentoring sessions.
- Ensure completion of care certificates, including personal development plans, care certificate matrices, and celebrations/graduations.
- Provide general ad-hoc planning and coaching touchpoints as needed.
- Become proactive in informing management of any updates to national office templates/paperwork and regularly review franchise updates via My Franchise.
- Be prepared to support additional work required leading up to audits or inspections.

Requirements
- Working towards Level 3 or 4 in NVQ in Health and Social Care (can be enrolled with us if needed).
- Training experience is preferable.
- Possess a passion for delivering high-quality care to our clients and helping them maintain independence and happiness at home.
- Confidently use care management technology, providing support and training to care professionals.
- Have a good working knowledge of IT systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
- Hold a full driving license and reliable transportation, if required, to visit clients within your territory.
- Be adaptable and responsive to changing business needs, with flexible working time available.
