At Kings College Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Dulwich Satellite Unit, a newly built haemodialysis unit at the Tessa Jowell Health Centre.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 nurse to take on a challenging and rewarding role, working closely with our diverse team to provide high-quality patient care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the unit manager in driving forward quality patient-centred care, while also supporting your colleagues to achieve efficiency and sustain standards.

You will be expected to have a strong understanding of the principles of haemodialysis, including connecting and disconnecting patients safely, commencing treatment, and troubleshooting any complications that may arise. You will also be required to work independently, prioritising patient care based on individual needs, and documenting observations accurately.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work collaboratively with other staff members to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. You will also be expected to participate in mentoring health care assistants, support ongoing research studies, and ensure adherence to trust policies and protocols.
