About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Media Technology Lead Engineer to join our team at A+E Networks EMEA. As a key member of our Technology and Operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing reliable, efficient, and cost-effective media technology solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement technical solutions to support our content supply chain and creative post-production processes
  • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions and negotiate contracts
  • Manage competing priority tasks to deadlines and prioritize expectations to feedback effectively
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to the level of detail required within 'as built' and handover documentation
  • Apply AWS cloud security principles and permissions best practices
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Proven experience in designing technical solutions and working with cloud computing and data-driven workflows
  • Excellent knowledge of post-production, digital, and broadcast workflows
  • Proven understanding of broadcast IT systems, architecture, and software
  • Experience with root cause analysis and managing improvement plans
  • Excellent communication skills with an open approach to imparting information in an understandable manner to people of all levels across the business
  • Knowledge of video formats and transcoding
  • Project management skills, including ITIL/PRINCE2/AGILE
  • AWSCertified Solution Architect (Associate) or similar certification
