About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire Learning in Croydon. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and speech, language, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with ASC and speech, language, and communication needs in a primary school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to promote student progress and achievement
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive education for all students
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEND
Requirements
  • QTS or QTLS qualification and/or relevant experience
  • Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection qualifications and knowledge
  • Experience working with students with SEMH and additional needs
  • Knowledge and understanding of developments in education
