Senior Architectural Technologist

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking an ambitious Senior Architectural Technologist to join their established Architectural Team in Huddersfield. As a key member of the team, you will work alongside experienced Architects, Technologists, and Technicians in a beautiful rural setting.

The successful candidate will provide technical support across the Technical division and the wider business, which includes Architects, Chartered Surveyors, and other Construction professionals. Our client has a proven track-record of developing their staff, with a culture of internal promotion and several staff members in Director positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Producing technical design drawings for RIBA Work Stage 2 to 6 on new build and refurbishment residential schemes
  • Creating 3D Revit models for concept design to construction issue information
  • Managing multiple jobs simultaneously, producing working drawings/specifications and checking/amending similar work drafted by others
  • Producing planning, building control, and construction issue drawings
  • Attending client meetings and site visits, providing technical advice when required
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years experience working up to Senior Architectural Technologist level
  • AutoCAD experience is essential, with Revit desirable
  • Previous experience working on Residential projects is beneficial
  • Prior knowledge/awareness of writing design & access statements, planning statements, and developing measured site surveys
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to prioritize and strategize given specific time constraints
  • Full, clean driving licence
