Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified teacher to join our team at a SEN school in Bournemouth. The school caters to students with profound, multiple, and severe learning, health, and care needs. As a Special Educational Needs Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons for small classes of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead classes in basic curriculum topics and more specific communication and life skills
  • Design and deliver lessons that are fun and activity-based, focusing on supporting each individual's needs
  • Work with students who have an Educational Healthcare Plan, which drives their personalised curriculum

Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS or relevant experience as a teacher
  • Solid experience working with vulnerable children is beneficial, but we want to hear from all teachers
  • Team Teach desirable

What We Offer:
