About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Engineering Technician to join our team at BWC Management Services Limited. As a Senior Medical Equipment Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical equipment, providing technical support and maintenance to our staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, repair, and calibration of electro-medical equipment, including ventilators, anaesthetic machines, and ultrasound scanners.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff on the use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment.
  • Develop and implement test procedures to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
  • Participate in the department's stock control system and ordering of replacement parts.

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent acceptable engineering/technical based qualification with relevant experience.
  • Substantial experience in maintenance, fault finding, and repair of electrical and electronic or mechanical and electromechanical medical equipment.
  • Experience in the use of computerized equipment management systems and electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Good technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
