Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Specialist to join Bradford Street Properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of commercial and residential properties, as well as running two small related businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual and long-term plans to ensure the successful operation of all businesses.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and health and safety regulations.
  • Manage insurances, including negotiating and tendering policies.
  • Develop and maintain financial plans and budgets, and measure performance against these.
  • Manage tenant and customer relationships, including lettings and repairs.
  • Lead a small management team, including permanent staff and sub-contractors.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in building or property management.
  • Experience of building safety compliance.
  • Project management experience would be beneficial.
  • Minimum 3 years experience within property management or a similar sector.
  • Education to degree level in surveying, building management, or finance.
  • Experience in researching, developing, and implementing strategy to meet business objectives.

Location: On-site full time in Birmingham with occasional visits to London.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Holidays: 20 days per annum plus statutory holidays

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year plus profit share
