Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgetary constraints.
  • Quantity Take-Offs and BOQ Preparation: Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) for materials, labor, and other project costs.
  • Procurement and Contract Management: Assist in the procurement of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgetary constraints.
  • Financial Control and Accuracy: Monitor and track project costs, including variations, change orders, and progress payments, to ensure financial control and accuracy.
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Collaborate with the project team to review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Valuation and Certification: Assist in the valuation of works and certification of payments to subcontractors in accordance with contractual agreements and project milestones.
  • Site Visits and Inspections: Participate in site visits and inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance with specifications, identifying any potential issues or variations.

Requirements:
  • Qualification: Qualification in Quantity Surveying or working towards.

  • Driving Licence: Relevant driving licence.
