About the Role:

As a Transformational Education Specialist with The Progress Group, you will play a pivotal part in empowering young minds in Northamptonshire.


The role involves managing a caseload of up to five students who have faced challenges in their educational journey, providing tailored academic support and essential pastoral care to help dismantle barriers to learning and pave the way for their successful return to formal education.


You will engage and inspire these young minds in their communities - at home, local facilities, or community spaces. Your ability to quickly identify and address challenges faced by students is crucial, ensuring appropriate follow-up and support for their individual needs.


Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:



  • Hold a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or be willing to work towards it.
  • Degree or equivalent, with Maths and English to at least Level 2.
  • Specialist teaching qualification in a chosen subject (desirable).
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage student behavior effectively.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with parents, community organizations, and stakeholders to support students with diverse and challenging needs.
  • Understanding of equality of opportunity, safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion issues.
