We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to become a vital part of our dynamic school community in Slough.



About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you take on the responsibility of delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 2.



Key Responsibilities

  • Create interactive and immersive lessons that stimulate students' curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles, incorporating multimedia resources, storytelling, and real-world examples to make complex concepts accessible.
  • Plan and implement a comprehensive and dynamic KS2 curriculum that meets educational standards and addresses the diverse needs of students, challenging them to think critically and creatively.
  • Regularly assess student progress through creative assessments such as quizzes, projects, and presentations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Encourage students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and develop problem-solving skills, using open-ended questions and collaborative activities to promote deeper understanding.
  • Participate in and lead extracurricular activities that enhance students' learning experiences, such as clubs, field trips, and school events that align with the curriculum and spark students' interests.


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS2 students.
  • Proven experience in creating engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Competence in using technology to enhance learning and administrative tasks.
