Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Electrical Project Technician to join our team at CommScope. Based in Malton, North Yorkshire, this temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our Electrical Engineering team.

About the Role

This position involves developing cabinet wiring systems to meet customer demands and expectations. You will work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure the successful installation, testing, and maintenance of our products.

The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical safe isolation procedures, technical drawings, and schematics. They should also possess strong digital literacy skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint and Forms.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out site installations, fault finding, and repairs, generating reports on findings as needed.
  • Wire and test development products, ensuring compliance with all electrical standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the completion of the CommScope PDP framework, which includes testing and validating new and existing products according to project target timescales.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driver's license.
  • Experience using SAP systems.
  • Digital literacy and IT skills, with a fundamental understanding of Microsoft office products, including Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Forms.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a temporary position based in Malton, North Yorkshire, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team.
