About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail Ltd. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in running the store, leading by example and driving a strong sense of teamwork
  • Embrace a fast-paced environment and work with large volumes of stock/product
  • Maintain excellent store standards and consistently deliver KPIs
  • Develop and coach a winning team, working with them to identify and nurture talent and train them to achieve success
  • Be hands-on and resilient, flexible and reactive to change
  • Demonstrate a true passion for retail and for your role, bringing your commercial knowledge to your team and store
  • Support in driving compliance in your store, through stocktakes, health and safety and people processes

Requirements
  • Management experience within a fast-paced and high turnover Retail or Hospitality environment
  • Experience managing medium to large sized teams
  • A history of working towards and successfully delivering KPIs
  • Flexibility to work a range of hours, including weekends and bank holidays
