Oxford Nanopore Technologies, a leading biotechnology company, is seeking an experienced Biologics QC Analyst to join its Biologics Production team.

Job Overview

This role involves the daily production of kit and flowcell components, including expression and purification of proteins, production of DNA/RNA analytes, and tech transfer work such as process scale up and continuous process improvement. The successful candidate will also ensure batch records are accurately followed and carry out testing as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment management, including liaising with manufacturers
  • Continuous improvement and troubleshooting
  • Production data tracking
  • Updating batch protocols and item specifications
  • Raising change notes, deviations, CAPAs, and non-conformances
  • General lab maintenance
  • Batch record reviews
What We're Looking For

We're looking for an individual with relevant laboratory experience, preferably in chemistry, biochemistry, or pharmaceutical environments or in large-scale protein, DNA, or chemicals processing. A working knowledge of chemical, biochemical, or molecular biology techniques is essential, as well as familiarity with GMP and GLP. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate should be well-organized, resilient under pressure, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to work. This role suits someone who is quality and process-driven, team-oriented, responsive to customer needs, and wants to influence change positively and effectively. A BSc or equivalent relevant experience is required.
