About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team at Randstad Delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art building management systems (BMS) technology and electrical control systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and commission BMS components and equipment, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and software systems.
  • Carry out regular maintenance checks on BMS systems across various sites.
  • Respond to reactive call-outs and provide technical assistance to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance BMS performance.
  • Develop and present reports on BMS system performance and recommend remedial works.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (e.g., City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ).
  • Extensive experience with BMS/HVAC systems and associated technologies.
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and installation practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Valid UK driver's license.

Compensation:

This role offers a salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with additional benefits for being on call and attending reactive call-outs.
