Job Summary: We are seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor to oversee the financial management and cost control of various M&E projects for a respected provider of mechanical and electrical engineering services.

As a skilled Quantity Surveyor, you will prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities, conduct risk and value management activities, manage contracts, and provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting on project progress.

This is an ideal role for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a company that values expertise and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects.
  • Conduct risk and value management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contracts, including financial administration and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
  • Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting on project progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the M&E sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems within building services.
  • Experience managing contracts and working with NEC or JCT forms of contract.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills.
