Job Title: GCP DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team at Extended Family Senior Services Llc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving transformation and migration projects on the Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines for transformation and migration projects on the Google Cloud Platform.
  • Utilize hands-on coding skills to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and orchestration processes, optimizing efficiency and reliability.
  • Lead containerization initiatives using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes to enhance application scalability, portability, and resilience.
  • Architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the continuous availability of systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for Google Cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, providing technical insights and contributing to project planning.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, incorporating new technologies into the DevOps toolkit to enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong hands-on coding skills with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or others.
  • Extensive experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and tools, such as Terraform.
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud services and tools.
  • Experience working on transformation and migration projects is a significant plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus.
