About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Crime Prevention and Strategy Lead to join our Directorate of Strategy and MPS Oversight.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to prevent crime and improve policing in London. You will work closely with stakeholders across MOPAC, the GLA, and wider partnerships to drive policy development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing strategies to prevent crime and improve policing in London;
  • Working closely with stakeholders across MOPAC, the GLA, and wider partnerships to drive policy development and implementation;
  • Providing expert advice and briefings to senior officials and politicians on policy matters;
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in crime prevention and strategy development;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a civil service pension and flexible working arrangements.
