About the Role

MacIntyre is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in Wirral and Wrexham. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Manager in the day-to-day management of our services, ensuring that we provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Service Manager in the management of the service, including staff supervision and development
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans, ensuring that individuals receive tailored support to meet their needs
  • Work closely with external professionals, social work teams, families, and the local community to promote our 'Everyone Everywhere' initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of our local area on-call rota and participate in supervisions and appraisals
  • Collaborate with the management team across Wirral and Wrexham to ensure consistency and quality in our services

Requirements
  • Experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Confident IT user, with experience of digital care record systems
  • Manual driving license and willingness to travel as needed
