Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Bibby Financial Services. As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and profitability of our business by effectively managing our client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure timely and efficient credit control, minimizing bad debt and maximizing cash flow.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze client financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities, making recommendations to management to optimize credit control strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective credit control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales and credit teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit control to continuously improve our processes and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit control, financial risk management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, including anti-money laundering and data protection laws.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications, such as a credit control or financial management qualification.
  • Experience working in a financial services environment, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
