Job Overview:

Arm Limited is seeking a highly skilled FPGA Design Lead to join its Solution Engineering Hardware Platforms team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the design and development of FPGA hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of engineers in the design and development of FPGA hardware platforms.
  • Liaising and collaborating with development teams to translate high-level requirements into project and design requirements.
  • Breaking down requirements into packages of work and translating them into project plans.
  • Tracking project plans, identifying and managing risks, and reporting status.
  • Developing FPGA implementations targeting internal and external platforms to demonstrate Arm's latest IP products.

Requirements:

  • Solid FPGA design experience with strong technical leadership skills.
  • Development of accurate project plans involving multiple teams and ensuring deliveries follow the agreed plan.
  • Detailed knowledge of the FPGA design flow from RTL design, simulation, synthesis, and place & route.
  • Strong RTL skills in Verilog / System Verilog or VHDL.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English, and ability to write coherent documentation.
