Job Title: Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring the successful delivery of fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review contract details, tender documents, and pre-construction information to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Develop and implement construction programmes to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Initiate site mobilisation and oversee site set up to ensure a smooth project start.
  • Liaise closely with project QS and site manager to ensure cost control and quality assurance.
  • Manage approved subcontractors to ensure health and safety compliance and quality of work.
  • Monitor live projects for quality, cost, and programme implications, and attend project meetings to ensure project progress.
  • Control and oversee the snag and de-snag of projects to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Contracts Manager in fit-out projects.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to ensure project delivery as efficiently as possible.
  • Positive attitude and ability to exercise good contractual knowledge with JCT & D&B Contracts.
  • Experience with CDM Health & Safety and O&M Manuals.
  • Able to travel to projects once a week.
