Job Title: Theatre Transformation Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven leader to join our team as a Theatre Transformation Manager. This role will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care and efficient theatre services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a service strategy in conjunction with the Theatre Triumvirate.
  • Work collaboratively with senior management and clinical leads to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
  • Ensure the smooth and safe day-to-day running of services within the Operating Theatres.
  • Deliver outstanding staff and patient experience.
  • Act as a champion for patient safety, operational effectiveness, quality, and staff wellbeing.

  • Ability to implement policies and procedures.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to demonstrate compassionate and inclusive leadership.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • IT literate and able to collate and analyse data.
  • Experience of managing a theatre complex and developing operational and strategic service plans.
  • Experience of financial and budgetary management.
  • Recognised management qualification and/or leadership qualification.
