Court of Protection Paralegal/Caseworker

Pyramid8 is seeking an experienced Court of Protection Paralegal/Caseworker to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work closely with our lead Solicitor to grow and develop the Court of Protection/Mental Health team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing Legal Documents: create and format legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, and court forms.
  • Answering Calls and Taking Messages: handle phone calls, transfer calls, and ensure accurate message-taking.
  • Organising Travel and Meetings: arrange travel for solicitors and manage their diaries, including setting up meetings.
  • Providing Training and Development Opportunities: support the growth and development of junior team members.
  • Staying Up-to-Date with Legal Developments: maintain knowledge of the Legal Aid system and other relevant legal frameworks.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the Legal Aid system.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages and Case Management Systems.
