We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Research Associate within the School of the Built Environment and Architecture at London South Bank University.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be working on a recently funded Innovate UK project focused on hydrogen storage and energy systems. The project involves industry partners, and the objective is to design, develop, and demonstrate an innovative hydrogen storage and energy system that can operate effectively under various conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test facilities for the project
- Calibrate and install instrumentation and data logging systems
- Conduct experimental investigations and develop system thermodynamic models
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in energy or mechanical engineering, with a good understanding of industrial waste heat, heat exchangers, thermodynamic cycles, heat and mass transfer, instrumentation, monitoring, and analysis of complex processes. Experience in thermodynamic modeling is also essential.
