Teaching Vacancy for Experienced Professionals

A respected supply teaching agency, Step Teachers, is recruiting an experienced Reception Class teacher to cover a maternity leave position at a Primary School in Oxford. The selected candidate will work on a full-time basis from December to the end of the academic year.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status and possess in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Sustain a well-managed classroom with easy access to necessary resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the classroom and across the school.
  • Evaluate and report student progress.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans adaptable to meet diverse student needs.
  • Comply with and implement school policies effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Recent teaching experience in a Primary School setting.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management abilities.
  • Desirable: Experience working with students having special educational needs (SEND).
