We offer an attractive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to support your career growth and professional development.

Job Description

As a Lead Software Engineer at KPMG Curve, you will be responsible for delivering technology-enabled outcomes for our clients' most challenging business issues using modern and best-in-class engineering methodologies. You will also serve as a role model, mentor, and advocate for agile principles and best practices within the engineering team.

You will work closely with product managers to analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable tickets. Additionally, you will take technical ownership of solutions, oversee and support development activities of team members and contractors, and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you must possess:

  • A high percentage of work will require individuals to hold or be capable of obtaining UK National Security Vetting, which may include residing in the UK for at least 5 years and being a UK national or dual UK national.
  • Subject matter expertise in C#, .Net coding, with full-stack experience preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience leading engineering teams building distributed systems and secure products at scale.
  • A solid understanding of design practices, system architecture, and conducting code reviews.
  • Experience using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices best practices.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
