">Overview
">We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Continental. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial mechanical systems.
">Salary and Benefits
">The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, on-site gym, bonus scheme, and 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time and shift workers).
">Job Description
">As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
">1. Ensuring the quality and completion of planned preventative maintenance routines, fault diagnosis, breakdown repairs, and installation work with industrial mechanical systems.
">2. Assisting the team leader in the completion of administrative and safety tasks relating to engineering maintenance.
">3. Participating in safety inspections and risk assessments for maintenance activities and use of equipment.
">4. Reporting incidents and incident hazards.
">5. Performing and confirming isolations and lock-offs of dangerous machinery in accordance with site procedures (LOTO Systems).
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance/industrial environment.
">2. Knowledge of a wide range of industrial plant and machinery, including mechanical/pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
">3. Understanding of site safety systems, including permit-to-work procedures, isolation methods, and other company policies.
">4. Apprentice-trained technician with City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate or equivalent in Mechanical discipline.
