Electronics Engineer Job Description

Sagentia Innovation is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for designing high-quality analogue and digital circuits for client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing analogue and digital circuits for client projects at all stages within the product development lifecycle.
  • Contributing to the electronics hardware development within multidisciplinary projects.
  • Interacting with clients to plan projects, identify and formalise design requirements, implement, test, and ultimately hand over finished designs.
  • Driving integration, issue resolution and verification activities at hardware and subsystem level.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of the full product development lifecycle of electronics design.
  • A hands-on passion for designing both analogue and digital circuits.
  • Passionate about learning new electronic technologies.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
  • First or 2:1 degree, or postgraduate qualification in electronics, engineering, or a related subject.

Additional Skills:

  • FPGA hardware design experience including VHDL / Verilog programming.
  • Simulation of designs using Spice and/or RF simulators.
  • Experience in motion control (actuators and sensors) systems would be advantageous.
  • RF design, test and compliance to 6GHz would be advantageous.
  • Embedded C/C++ software design experience.

You will be based at our Sagentia Innovation offices in Harston, Cambridge, with opportunities for short travel to client sites in Europe or the USA.
