About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team in Fife. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people who require a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical and emotional care to young people, ensuring their basic needs are met.
  • Assess and create an environment that promotes emotional well-being and safety.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans in partnership with the care team, parents/carers, and other responsible individuals.
  • Support young people to remain in school and participate in education, vocational training, or employment.
  • Administer medication in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Participate in writing daily logs, fortnightly summaries, and reports for 6-monthly reviews, case studies, and children's hearings.
  • Attend supervision, team meetings, and staff meetings to ensure consistency of care and promote team work.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the child care field, including child protection, care planning, risk assessments, and reviews.
  • Relevant experience working with young people who have complex needs.
  • SSSC Registration and SVQ Levels 4 & 3 and HNC qualifications.
  • Ability to develop a good understanding of the policies and procedures that operate within the organisation.
  • Commitment to providing the highest standard of care and ability to reinforce this to others.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £33-£36k (depending on level of experience) + benefits. You will work on a shift basis, with overtime available.
